Great Results for Royal Canberra Women

Isabelle Hawes has been in Hawaii with an ACT team being managed by Sue Harrison.  In the first event Isabelle came in 2nd with two good scores of 78 and 77.  Overall, Isabelle finished in fourth place in the Oahu Junior Open, a fantastic achievement!

Adele Douglas came 3rd in the Queensland Mid – Amateur 54 – hole stroke event despite suffering with the flu.

Liz Smyth made the semi – finals of the Qld Senior Amateur match play by beating the No 1 qualifier and last year’s winner, Josie Ryan.  Kim Burke, the current      NSW champion, was too good in the semis and went on to win the event.
