We are continuing to adapt our work environment to ensure the staff’s safety remains paramount. As discussed last week, we have split into two teams with staggered start, stop and lunch breaks to comply with the social distancing guidelines. We are sterilising the lunch room daily and have established multiple hand sanitising stations around the maintenance facility. Lastly, we have designated equipment for the staff to use to again reduce the risk of passing the virus throughout the team should someone become infected with COVID-19.
This week we have commenced mowing greens 19-27 after their recent renovations. These greens will be mown routinely to bring them in line with current maintenance practises for greens 1-18.

Fairways 19-27 are continuing to progress well. We have scheduled their first cut for the end of this week if the weather conditions permit. An application of granular fertiliser will also be made to assist the fairways to continue to establish and mature.

Lastly, the gardens around the Clubhouse are looking magnificent at the moment, and we are starting to see the first flowers from the camellias which will continue right through the autumn months.
