WOMEN’S GOLF NOTES 10 MARCH

Spike Bar Open on Tuesdays

The Spike Bar is now open on Tuesdays from 30 mins prior to the first tee time until 12 noon. A barista will be there to make coffee and small sweet treats will be available. Please show your support and make it a success!

Pennant

Our Brindabella Shield team played their second game of the season on Sunday against Goulburn at Murrumbidgee. Despite a couple of very closely fought matches, the team went down 3/2. The team members were Sandra Edlington, Pam Emery, Mandy Edlington, Lindy Ingham and Jane Peters.

The CSGA Plate team had their first game last Friday and travelled to Moss Vale to play. The team of Robyn Leason, Heather McKean, Meg Butler, Gill Falvey and Barb Jeffrey squared with Murrumbidgee.

The Bronze Shield team was not able to play at Gold Creek on Friday due to the wet conditions and their match will be rescheduled.

Bruce Cup starts on Sunday 15 March.

Brindabella Course Closure

Holes 19-27 will be closed for renovation from after our competition today until after Easter. Therefore, on Tuesdays 17, 24 & 31 March and 7 April both the 18 and 9 hole competitions will be played on holes 1-18.

There will be fewer tee times available on these days. If you have a booking, but know you cannot play, please take your name off to enable others to book.

On Tuesday 24 March the GNSW Bowl will be played (4BBB). This will now not be a shotgun start and normal tee times will apply.  The 9 hole competition will also be played as a 4BBB that day.

Upcoming Open Days

The entry form is on the noticeboard in the locker room.

Members may also register online for the CSGA Players Award – only 5 district or CSGA events are needed to qualify – no entry fee – see csga.asn.au
