Thank you to all entrants for the 2018 Royal Canberra Women’s Open Day.   We have very gladly received a full capacity field of 142 players, one of the largest in the event’s history.  To cater for this many players and avoid 30+ players missing out in a ballot draw we are required to hold two shotgun starts – 7:30 AM and 12:30 PM.

We have granted all non-local competitors automatic entry into the afternoon field to allow safer and affordable same day travel which we hope Canberrans will embrace in good spirit to continually grow our local events.

Morning Competitors: Please ensure you register in the Golf Shop by 6:45 AM.  Barista made coffee and food/snacks will be available to purchase in the Spike Bar next to the Golf Shop from 6:00 AM.  At 7:10 AM players will be asked to make their way to their allocated tee. Following your round, a light lunch will be provided upstairs in the Clubhouse (golf shoes permitted). There will be no presentations following the morning field but please feel welcome to return to the Club at approximately 5:00 PM for presentations.

Afternoon Competitors: Please ensure you register in the Golf Shop by 11:30 AM so that you can also collect your lunch packs prepared by our Food & Beverage Team and browse the latest new arrivals in our Women’s clothing range.  Following golf, please return your scorecard to the Golf Shop as soon as possible.  Results will take approximately 15 minutes to process and presentations will follow immediately upstairs in the Clubhouse (golf shoes permitted). It is our intention to do this quickly so players can enjoy the social atmosphere without too much wait time.

Competitors needing Carts: To avoid any disappointment, any players who upon entry have requested to share a cart will be charged a maximum of $20 whether or not the draw provides them the opportunity to share. Please go to the Golf Shop counter to collect a cart key and make payment.

Veteran Women’s Golfers Association of NSW – For all current financial Members to be eligible for daily Veterans Prizes, it is each individual player’s responsibility to notify Staff at registration prior to tee off that you intend on entering the Veterans Event.
